Family Engagement Sessions
Throughout the school year we hold numerous sessions where parents and carers are invited into school to work alongside their child. These range from stand alone family engagement sessions to families coming into the classroom to support their child’s learning. These sessions are well attended and we enjoy sharing our learning with our wonderful families. Below are a number of examples of family engagement sessions that have taken place recently.
Foundation Stay and Play
“We have had a fabulous afternoon of autumn themed fun at our Stay and Play session. Thank you to everyone for coming, and of course, to our wonderful EYFS team, for all their hard work in making today such a success.”
EYFS Celebrate David Attenborough’s 100th Birthday
Parent and carers in EYFS were invited into school to celebrate David’s 100th birthday. During the session, parents and carers became at one with nature through a fabulous day of activities. The parents enjoyed a wonderful family picnic, followed by bug hunts, animal encounters and creative activities. We love spening time with our families in the outdoors.
