On Friday, 3M enjoyed a fantastic visit to Cannon Hall, where they discovered what life was like during Victorian times. They took part in a range of hands-on activities, including preparing food in the kitchen, making lavender bags, churning butter and washing clothes the traditional Victorian way.
The children also explored Cannon Hall Museum, where they learnt about the wealthy Spencer family who once lived in the house during the Victorian era.
It was a wonderful opportunity for 3M to step back in time, bring their history learning to life and experience some of the everyday tasks that would have been part of Victorian life!
