This week, Year 2 brought the magic of Nick Butterworth’s beloved Percy the Park Keeper stories to life in our Drama lesson! Using hot-seating and role-play, the children stepped into the shoes of Percy and his animal friends on a cold, wintry night in the park. Working together in small groups, they used expressive voices, movement, and frozen pictures (freeze-frames) to show how Percy makes room in his cozy hut for all the shivering woodland creatures—from the sneaky fox to the tiny mice!
