Our children celebrated Rotherham day by joining in with our local community and local schools at Rotherham Minster. A concert to promote our sculpture project with Jason Turpin-Thomson. Visitors to the Minster will find a QR code at the exhibition to donate toward a special memorial sculpture in Kimberworth for Mr. Steve Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes made a profound and lasting impact on Winterhill School, our local education, and the wider community. The sculpture will celebrate his legacy of togetherness and civic pride a true collaborative effort supported by schools across the Wingfield and Winterhill trust to champion arts education. We hope that over the next two weeks you will have the opportunity to visit the Minster, enjoy the children’s fantastic work and support this meaningful community project.
