Key Stage 1 had a fantastic time at the Count Me In Castle Making Workshop! We applied many skills that we have been learning and practising in DT. Additionally, the children created many different castle features which we have been learning all about in history. It was fabulous to see the children’s creativity in full swing and how their visions came to life.

During the castle making, there were different maths tasks to complete. For example, the children were tasked with creating a repeating pattern on their castle. They also were tasked with creating a Coat of Arms that had a line of symmetry.

Thank you so much to all of the parents who were able to attend and spent the fun-filled morning with us. The children had such a great time and it was super to see.
