In our forest school session this week, children worked hard to use natural resources to create a model inspired by a Sri Lankan mask. We spoke about what the masks are used for, things like storytelling and celebrations. The children looked at images and began to think about which objects would be the best to represent different parts of the masks. They worked extremely hard in their groups, showing amazing collaboration skills.
