This week in REY , our learning has focused on the Easter story. To support our maths development, children used Easter- themed cards to practice counting objects and matching quantities to the correct numeral. Children selected cards showing different amounts and counted them carefully before matching to the correct numeral. Some children were able to match quantities to numerals without counting demonstrating secure number recognition and early subitising skills.
