In 5/6T’s forest school session today, Miss Thompson tried out some new training from her P4C CPD! When arriving in the forest school, the children were asked what they could see and whether the things around them were naturally created or made my a human. The children picked out a range of things which they were then challenged to think about whether those things would still be there in another 50-100 years. The children fed-back some insightful thoughts, including the increase of technology usage, AI and things like pollution and how this changes environments. Miss Thompson gathered a range of vocabulary stated to then challenge the children to come up with a P4C question linked to their word, which was then voted on and discussed in groups. The class then took part in a conscience alley, based on our chosen question: “Will humanity be the same in 100 years?”.
