This morning children in 3WB described themsleves as upset, shocked and saddened to find our rainforest immersive reading area destroyed. This discovery immeadiately prompted lots of discussion about deforestation. We used our literacy lesson to persuade others to stop cutting down our beautiful rainforest, including backing up our statements with factual information. We will then use this first hand experience to write persuassive letters.
