We had a fantastic time at New Hall farm, we created charcoal art using flowers and leaves, searched for mini beasts in the wildflower meadow, tasted honey, worm charmed, created natural bird feeders, all before lunch! Then this afternoon we looked at different cereals and grains, milled flour, planted peas and sat in a huge tractor. What a great experience for our topic looking at where food comes from and how it is made.
