Today we had PE in the hall. We tried really hard to get dressed first into our pe kits by being independent and having a go.
Once in the hall we were thinking about people who can help us in school and out of school and discussed that we are all responsible for keeping ourselves safe. We can do this in pe by looking up to see where we are going, moving in different directions and listening to adults requests and actions.
The children played an ‘ambulance’ game and had to listen for specific requests and follow the actions. This included jumping up and down when at a speed bump, running in directions when the flashing light was on and walking to a start and stop signal.
We all had lots of fun and learnt how exercise can increase our heart rates and make us feel warmer.
