This half term, our topic is “What makes a happy ending?” and the children have been exploring this through stories, discussion, and creative activities.

We have really enjoyed sharing our text, Little Red Riding Hood. The children listened carefully to the story and talked about the characters, the problem in the story, and how it is resolved with a happy ending.

To build on this, the children took part in a guided drawing session where they drew the main character, Little Red Riding Hood. They worked hard to add important details to their pictures, including facial features and clothing, and showed great concentration and creativity.
