Fantastic History: Exploring Castles in Year 1! We have been learning all about Castles and their features. This week children have worked together to research different features of castles and then we looked at how we could create these using different objects. We created different stations in the classroom to construct various features of a castle. They used a variety of blocks to build a moat, a drawbridge, and the castle walls and towers. The children used effective communication skills and worked really well together as a team. They created some amazing structures to show features of a castle!
