Yesterday, we spent time taking turns as a class watching our outdoor space from the classroom for different types of garden birds. We placed birdseed directly outside, got our binoculars at the ready as well as our bird identification books and took notice of our outdoor space. Children identified many different species and inputted our findings onto the RSPB website. We looked at last years data from the whole country and await this years data to see if their are any changes (incline or decline) in the birds that are seen around the country.
