In 1/2B, we have been helping out a baby dragon! We got a special note from Baby Dragon asking for our help… He was breathing bubbles instead of fire! We knew we had to act fast. Without delay, we went searching in the Everywhereium for the special ingredients we needed,  so we could make a magic potion. We found all sorts! Slimy frogs legs, fairy dust, bat wings and more! The children each wrote a fabulous list of the ingredients to help the baby dragon.

Shortly after, we received another note from Baby Dragon… He had gone missing! We spotted something off about the note he left. It was missing some capital letters! We analysed the clue and picked out the letters which should’ve been capital letters. It spelt out BASC! As we arrived, we spotted another clue. We followed the trail, puzzling out the mystery… Our final clue revealed that Baby Dragon had been captured by an evil wizard! The only way to break the spell was to write sentences that included capital letters and full stops. We managed to rescue the baby dragon and bring him back to safety. PHEW!

To celebrate our victory, we imagined what it would be like to be a dragon. We created how we would like our own dragon eyes to look like using oil pastels.
