Today our whole EYFS enjoyed our spring educational visit to Graves Animal Park linked to our topic around animals and life cycles.

We learnt so much from the park Ranger Jack about all their animals,  including how to look after them , how to feed them and some facts including dos and don’t.

Did you know that horses can’t eat Carrots they can make them really poorly.  1 carrot is equivalent in calories to a human eating 3 large mars bars!

We had the amazing opportunity to bottle feed the few weeks old lambs and get up close and personal with them.

One of our  lovely children even donated 2 lamb jumpers  knitted by their Nan for them to wear as part of the parks appeal to help keep the lambs warm.

We were then allowed to feed the animals and loved exploring at the farm.

What an amazing day we all had and we are looking forward to continuing this learning back in class.
