Today one our wonderful parents Happi came into Reception class to share with us the Sikh celebration Vaisaki.

Both Eknoor and Komalpreet celebrate at the golden temple and shared with us lots of wonderful facts. Happi brought a very special artifact with her to share a special sword.

Happi shared with the children how it is important to be kind, caring and helpful towards others , discussed how everyone may look different on the outside but on the inside we are all the same.

We enjoyed listening to songs and looking at pictures of the golden Temple in India. Eknoor shared some words and facts with us around we all really enjoyed the wonderful session .

We can’t wait to learn about some more celebrations and  religions.
