Y6 used the forest school to build relationships and trust. Blindfold Trail: In pairs, one child guides another through a “risky” path, building trust and communication skills needed for secondary school.
The “Navigator” (Blindfolded): Learns to rely on instincts, spatial awareness, and the voice of their peers.
The “Guide” (Sighted): Takes full responsibility for their partner’s safety, building the “duty of care” needed for new secondary school friendships.
