This week in REY during our transition we have been taking part in the Mission Possible – Self-discovery and Vision. We have looked at our story ‘My World, Your World’ and talked about how we see ourselves, we spoke about what our likes and dislikes are and what makes us happy exploring our feelings and emotions. We also looked at where we live in our home time ‘Rotherham’ and children were able to talk about places they visit in our town and the world around us. Children then had a go at designing their own self portraits, by looking at themselves in the mirror and talking about their features and drawing themselves using pencils and paint pens. We all spoke about how we all look different, but we are the same- they used some fantastic language to describe themselves. Children also had a go at creating their own person using collage materials and added features using pencils. Well done everyone!
