This year, for Picture This, we were asked to demonstrate “Our Rotherham.” We decided to create a collaborative piece of artwork inspired by the artist Andy Goldsworthy, using natural materials. We recreated Keppel’s Column, using twigs to represent the windows, doors, and roof, and stones to add realistic detail. By working together, we produced a detailed and creative piece of art that reflected an important local landmark and celebrated our connection to Rotherham.
